About Me
Welcome
Hello, I'm Steff and I'm a Certified Equine and Canine Sports Massage Therapist (for more information check below).
I have always had a soft spot for all those furry creatures out there, but I found myself pushed down the rabbit hole when the mare I leased back in the day started to come off lame. After a few months of trying to find the culprit, an amazing physiotherapist pointed out that the reason was her lack of muscles in the back. I started learning about ways to build up muscles from the ground and guess what? The lameness disappeared! And I was left with the desire to learn more. To be able to see what that physiotherapist saw. Even though I enjoyed the work as a Veterinary Technician, I enrolled in my first massage class...and never looked back! Especially Beverly Brady's class 'The Amassage Method™' helped me understand how interconnected a body really is and what might cause soreness in a specific area. This was just the beginning, and the road of learning goes on every day, but I am proud and happy to help other horse and dog owners on their way of recovery, to top performance or improved well-being. |
